INDIANAPOLIS – April 1, 2026 – National Government Services, a subsidiary of Elevance Health and a leading healthcare solution provider serving federal healthcare agencies, has been renamed Wellpoint Federal today to reflect the shift toward enterprise-scale solutions across the federal landscape. The company provides a range of specialized services in claims administration -- processing over 228 million Medicare claims annually for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) – as well as data management, financial management and large-scale IT systems to help improve the quality of healthcare for millions of Americans.
